The German Federal Ministry of Consumer Protection, Nutrition and Agriculture (BMVEL) intends to promote the further use of agricultural products for non-use applications. The meó consulting team, led by Dr. Norbert Schmitz, has been engaged to determine which measures should be best applied to which resources to achieve this objective. The BMVEL requires information on the significance of both agricultural and forestry resources today and in the future, but also expects recommendations on how to effectively promote the use of these resources for alternative applications in new markets.
